Gryla the Christmas Witch

Originating in the hills of Iceland, Gryla the Witch was a 13th century fairy tale parents would tell to children to keep them in line. Likewise, the Yule cat and the Yule Lads were of similar origin and eventually they were portrayed as a family in the early 19th century. Nathan gives a brief overview of the history of this odd family and what each of them does during the holiday season.
